East Nusa Tenggara is a province formed and consists of there big island and Alor archipelago, which form the acronym FLOBAMORA (Flores, Sumba, Timor and Alor). East Nusa Tenggara is an archipelago province for it consists of 646 big and small islands.
From such number of islands above, only 48 islands have been inhabited and rests 598 have not as those are rocky islands, coarse grass and savannah with sand that can cost big investment to exploit.
East Nusa Tenggara is astronomically at 8 to 12 south latitude and 118 to 125 west latitude. Such geographical condition influences the climate and potential of natural beauty of East Nusa Tenggara.
East Nusa Tenggara has 251 Tourist objects, consisting of 131 natural tourist resorts, 114 cultural tourist objects and three specific interest objects, which are potential to develop for the development of prosperity of people of East Nusa Tenggara.
Group of islands in East Nusa Tenggara spread from islands in West Manggarai where Komodo Island and Rinca Island are. There, live the Varanus Komodoensis, the ancient animal that are still alive up to now. The series of 17 small islands in Riung with Natural sea Park make the world amazed. This will be more amazing with the natural beauty of hills and the three-color lake, Kelimutu.
Maumere Bay with coral reefs and beautiful adorned fish is natural resource that nothing equals if it is integrated with the international standard snorkeling at keppa island and kupang bay that is rich of fish and the variety of beautiful see park.
Boti village with its primitive traditional culture integrated with the unique and magic culture of belu and pasola with horseshow while throwing the javelin are as if performing how brave the youth of this nation in struggling against colonization.
The traditional village, Tarung and Lai Tarung, with its interesting megalithic and keeps holding the costums and traditions inheritance of ancestors perform how this nation becomes the cultural nation and appreciates the origin of the ancestor.

East Nusa Tenggara can be reached by air, namely Kupang, from the regions in Indonesia and from Australia. Maumere can be reached from Jakarta, Surabaya and Denpasar. Waingapu can be reached from Jakarta, Surabaya and Denpasar. Labuan Bajo can be reached by air lines from Jakarta, Surabaya, Denpasar, Mataram and Bima. Meanwhile by sea it can be reached from Ende, Maumere, Larantuka, Kalabahi, Waingapu, and Kupang. In addition, by land it can be reached from Bima-Labuan Bajo or from Surabaya-Maumere or Ende.
In Kupang there are five constant flights, they are Merpati Nusantara Airlines, Batavia Air, Pelita Air, Trans Nusa, Lion air and Susi Air. Meanwhile shipping service is handled by PELNI (National Shipping Lines) ships, like MS (Motorship) Awu, Sirimau. To reach the regions all over East Nusa Tenggara Province, there are also four multipurpose boats. Meanwhile, crossing service is handled by PT. ASDP (RCT. Lfd/River and crossing Transportation), such as PMS (passenger Motorship) Umakalada, ll Ape, lle mandiri, and PMS Kambaniru. In addition, there are twop express ferry, namely Express Bahari and Sinar Gemilang. The land transportation of inter-regencies in Flores, Sumba, and Timor is going along smoothy in medium intensity
